Oh glory this is just class. Just think early Black Sabbath meets the Black Keys.
This is properly one of the most accomplished albums I have heard for many a year. Play it loud and play it proud.
Spotted from the Bandcamp homepage, this is a great cover - perhaps even more so because it is instrumental. Good to let the horns do the talking, sometimes.
A beautiful EP - vocally, musically, and lyrically, this gets a regular play. Reminds me of early India Arie, yet Ayanna clearly has a style of her own. Like it so much I bought copies for my girlfriends.
Laid back vibes, piano, guitar and Latin flavours all concoct a perfect wigged out special dedication classic. Reminds me of Harvey Mason and 80's soul classics, with a big oooph! waiting to knock you out and make your heart sing.
