Shocked Back to Death Shocked Back to Death
With no better-fitting name, "Play Fast Get Trashed" cuts the bullshit and jumps into the fire.

Trash Knight marries hardcore punk and death-scented thrash metal unapologetically, then passes the mic to a handful of throatless demons. The EP opens with a beatdown and never lets up, decorated with hints of humor and enough strategically-placed dynamics to keep the killing spree interesting. A short-and-shredded detour through brutality that I've had on repeat for about two hours now.

“Golden Apples” is charming, ornate, and self-definitive; a one-of-a-kind departure from the mundane and a dive into something refreshing, uplifting, unpredictable, and above all: fun.

It's difficult to place this album in an accurate genre label, primarily because of the variety of sound, but additionally because it refuses to stay still long enough to be identified.

Buy this album; I promise you haven't heard anything like it.

    This album is mind-blowing.

I snagged the digipak after listening online- the packaging is of excellent quality, the artwork is gorgeous and charming.

The same adjectives work for the music. "Utopianist II" is like a sampling of a genre grabbag, with each remarkably represented. The artists clearly have a vast understanding of a massive arsenal of styles.

What "Utopianist meets Black Motor & John Ballantyne" doesn't parallel in variety, it doubles in impressive solos and jam sessions.
