    Viscerafest Viscerafest
Synth and metal bangers for a banging retro shooter. What's not to like?

That transition to hard riffs in the title track gets me amped every time.

A Tough Decision (Lebedev's Airfield) A Tough Decision (Lebedev's Airfield)
Some tracks I feel were stronger in their original form - notably The Synapse - but this can be chalked up as a personal taste thing rather than a dig at the quality. Overall I'd say it's a solid attempt, that would fit in well were the original Deus Ex to come out as a modern game. In an artistic and technical sense, one can clearly tell the growth experienced by both Alexander and Michiel.

The flagship track is definitely UNATCO, but Lebedev really yanked on the strings of my memory.

  17. Downpour
    by DEADLIFE
Rhythmic, driving and just a little unsettling. I like it but it doesn't quite catch me like Override or A Dream Drawn From the Sheath. Or particularly a lot of the Orphan tracks - I prefer a lower and often slower vibe.

    Scar Scar
A comparatively slight shift in direction, and an excellent one that demonstrate you don't need to change style entirely to create a fresh sound. Strongly recognisable but oozing with energy, it's DWTD with extra grind and I love it.
