Been a huge Joe Versus fan for years now and this new album goes above and beyond expectations! AMERICA! has a more refined quality and sound than previous releases while still maintaining an impactful raw energy! You get a fantastic mix of noisy punky rocking shit and genuinely pretty tracks, with many of the songs featuring a creeping build of layered sensory overwhelm! I love the sound, I love the lyrics, I’m going to continue listening to it over and over!!

S4J is a funny, yet poignant album with a lot to say. It has a raw, punkish quality that comes with something being made for its own sake and manages to carry a very refreshingly human frustration, comedy and all. It's been over a year and this album is still in my rotation with little chance of that changing any time soon.

Hey, where’d the words go? I guess there are still some frightening screams… Wait a minute…this music is good even on its own!

They say nothing works the way that it’s supposed to work, but these songs certainly do! Higher fidelity, higher noise, higher violence. A+.
