It's a fascinating album, especially because it didn't convince me at all when I first listened to it. I still think that the lyrics are a bit too repetitive and somewhat aimless at times. But the album is just fun. And the more you listen to it, the more fun it is. It's wild and does what it wants. And that fits quite well with the rough theme. After "Infest the Rats Nest" and this album here, I hope the trend continues in a black metal album at some point.

The Album feels less refined than Exercises in futility, but it is still a great one. Raw and melodious at the same time.

This is one of the very rare occurances in music, where the concept behind it is so incredibly and overwhelmingly well done, that you are at loss for words. I can't even selct a single song, because it is the whole, that is so fascinating. If your ever wanted to hear the deterioration of mind, this is the the right place to look for it.

This is a assembly of Black Metal tracks, that sometimes even sound hopeful. And that is really a rare thing. It transports a unique mood, which I urge people to experience.

What a great Metal album. The Instuments are on point, the voice fits it perfectly. The themes are entertaining and still not without depth. Really give it a listening. I hope they will doing a Black Metal Album one day.
