This single was one of the most beautiful songs I’ve ever downloaded without knowing much about the songwriter. Its rootsy, alt rock, indie background makes it interesting with the soft vocals in jarring discords. And yet it has a country lilt to it. Written in an American idiom that anyone can understand.
