The same abstract, atmospheric electronics that make Creep City so great, but with the addition of vocals and [occasionally danceable] beats! The last track, "Sunrise - Sunset" is mesmerizing.

Everybody Dies In Utah Everybody Dies In Utah
Wonderfully crafted film score that transitions between nightmarish drones, dreamy piano melodies, cinematic strings, and abstract noise. I feel that the main characteristic of a great soundtrack is its ability to craft a story without any dialogue or visuals, and Flower For Bodysnatchers’ compositions achieve just that!
  16. Mono Voodoo

    00:00/00:00
    Puncture Wounds Puncture Wounds
9 tracks of discordant, synthesized, mono lo-fi sexiness! I love zoning out to his music… there’s just this free-flowing, mind-f*** quality to it. It’s really fantastic work!

Lost Thoughts In Eternity Lost Thoughts In Eternity
Brought to us by the same group that organized the Digital Recovery series, this volume brings the instrumental soundscapes to the forefront. This compilation really is heavy on atmosphere and aural layering, which is why I love it!

    Marōn Marōn
Mostly abrasive and heavy industrial and electronic music from national and international artists. Fans of KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, and Metropolis Records artists will definitely dig this! All proceeds benefit the Red Cross with their Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Ethereal vocals mixed with experimental electronic and tribal instrumentals… equally moody, chaotic, and beautiful! I would say that her music is best described as “post-apocalyptic ballads.”

    Good Good
It’s a collection of eleven 3-minute-or-less soundtracks, each falling somewhere between comatose meditation and abrasive nightmares. Like the description says, this was more of an experimental project - a personal challenge - so there is no coherent theme or motif that ties the eleven tracks together… nor should there be. Each track stands on its own as a morsel of electronic strangeness.

I love these in-between-album releases (and sometimes videos) from the Scholars... it's always nice hearing a new/unreleased Sabzi track and Geo rhyming about anything and everything!
