I've heard people use the word "transported" in relation to music or literature and I never understood it. Transcend? Yes. Move? Yes. Energize? Yes. But I put on this record, and before I noticed it, I was somewhere I'd never been before, taking in the landscape around me, my heart following along with those synth lines as they bent every so slowly toward their resolution. Beautiful.
