What more can I say, I f'n love The Spires, one of my favorite bands, and these are two awesome new tracks. I've already listened to the s*** out if it and there's a great deal more listening yet to come.

I love Shriek. I love the story of the record and the way that you can hear the love of making music so freshly reinvigorated in every track. These new Variations are incredible. It's the best new music I've heard in a good while. Beautifully layered. A must for any fan. It's a truly special release.

If you love the Spires, don't pass over this EP. The whole thing is fantastic, and the title track is a top 5er of theirs for me. Two thumbs up, with an aspiration for more thumbs to cast towards the sky. Great stuff.

This is a wonderful record by a fantastic band. There are definitely standout tracks, but one impressive thing is the high floor. Not a skip track in the bunch. It waves over you with curve balls, cool riffs, and great melodies while maintaining a cohesion that leaves nothing feeling out of place. As with the rest of the Spires catalog, there are thought provoking moments and their signature fusion of new wave, old school indie rock, and psych that you just can't find elsewhere. Thumbs up!

I actually bought this again because I have it from back in the day, but I love it so much that I feel like I owe them another purchase. It's a fun record that is introspective and has a wonderful sweeping quality to it. Please support these guys and buy it, It's a wonderful EP, top to bottom
