'A Blue Wing' evokes precisely that to me, a sad flight away from what is loved. It suggests a renunciation and, at the same time, its acceptance. Yes, triumphant melodies but played by lonely and lost synths in a room whose limits are never clear. Music that perfectly echoes the times of confinement, but confronts them with a sort of bittersweet epicness full of expectations of liberation. I love those sets of tensions that I percieve and makes this little gem an instant favorite.
