  5. Between All Things
    by OHMA
Colorfield Records is shaping up very quickly to being something everyone should be paying attention to. This album from OHMA is an incredibly strong work of ambient jazz and fluid psychedelia. Recommended!
  6. Wave to Mikey
    by Danny Scott Lane
  7. The Driving Memoirs (Japanese Edition)
    by Morgan Geist
A great electronic album from 1997 that I'm saddened I haven't heard until now! It's primarily house and techno, but with touches of nu-jazz--and all of it is with electronic listening music in mind (this isn't house or techno for the club).

  9. Perform the Compositions of Sam Wilkes & Jacob Mann
by Sam Wilkes & Jacob Mann
A surprising team-up where they split the difference (or meet in the middle?) and end up with something where it's the most fun Sam Wilkes' music has ever been, while likewise being the most sincere Jacob Mann's music has ever been. They should make more music together because this is a great album from start to finish. Recommended!

  15. Bed Hair
    by yutaka hirasaka
IMHO, this is the best release from Yutaka Hirasaka (whether solo or with his duo, Baddest Unity). I am digging it. [Update: I've listened to this EP approximately a gazillion times.]

Wonderful ambient jazz with wonderful bass playing and electroacoustic soundscapes. I need more of this in my life, please. Recommended!
