    An epic knockout live set from one of my favorite bands. Great track after great track after great track. Hard to pick a favorite (especially considering the fact that “Post to Wire,” “Winner’s Casino,” “The Boyfriends,” and “Always on the Ride” are some of the best songs ever), but “A Night in the City” feels especially urgent here.

    Been listening to it on a loop. A late addition to my favorite albums of 2020 for sure. Engrossing, cinematic, epic. The kind of music I love to write to. I know it’ll stay in heavy rotation alongside go-tos like William Tyler, Jóhann Jóhannsson, John Carpenter, Dirty Three, and Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’s film scores.
