While I'm more familiar with their chiptunes, Deejay Verstyle proves that they are more than capable of banging out pleasing hip hop tunes as well. It's well worth my recommendation. Listen for yourself and support the artist by buying this album. I'll be blaring it in my car tomorrow morning.

Arguably the best throwback album I've heard in a long time. Anybody who fell in love with music from games such as Streets of Rage will want to give this a listen.

Back in the day when everyone played Super Nintendo, I had a Sega Genesis. I love both consoles now, but back in the day, the Genesis was all I had. For this reason, the soundchip is instantly recognizable to. Deejay Verstyle captures the totality of its abilities with their own signature style. This offering of music fills the nostalgic mind with glee, and is an excellent starter for anybody interested in hearing *original* video game inspired music.
