Bend & Break (feat. Ollie Wride) Bend & Break (feat. Ollie Wride)
FM-84 has been one of my favorite artists for a long time and I’m pumped to see a regular collaborator, Ollie Wride, permanently join the band!
This song demonstrates the vibrant energy that Collin and Ollie can create together.
  12. REVIVAL
    by The Northern Lights
Feels So Right Feels So Right
Wow, Northern Lights is a relatively new discovery for me, but they are quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. There is a great mix here of instrumental electronic music and catchy synthpop jams. I LOVE this album!
  13. The Majesty of Our Broken Past
    by Color Theory
The Past Yet to Come The Past Yet to Come
I've been a massive fan of the synthwave scene for a long time and Color Theory brings something unique to the table with this album. He uses sounds and rhythms that are not normally associated with the synthwave genre to great effect. Color Theory still retains that youth and nostalgia that makes the lighter side of synthwave so pleasant.
Side Note: "The Past Yet to Come" is one of the most beautifully composed songs in years.
  14. Nocturnal
    by The Midnight
    Shadows Shadows
These guys are getting better with every release that they put out!
If you have even a fleeting interest in Synthwave, this should absolutely be part of your collection.
