  1. Kaziwa
    by Porya Hatami & Arovane
    Ceill Ceill
I struggle to find anything that comes close to matching the dream-like essence that exudes from this unbelievable work of art.

There is a hypnotic, almost spell-binding feeling that this album casts. As though you have drifted off, without realizing, into a dream where some force is drawing you close and yet is always out of reach. You wander the unknown, unsure of your way back or forward.

Kaziwa is a collaboration that demonstrates two artists at the peak of their powers.

    by PAVANE
    Plumes Plumes
I have listened to this album countless times and each listen feels just as exhilarating and mind-blowing as the previous.

Every track is carefully crafted with intricate textures, rhythm, and sounds-- and all coalesce into a vibrant tapestry of feelings and mental imagery.

Pavane is an artist with tremendous vision and potential-- someone in whom I'm expecting great things, if PPPP is any indication.
  3. VĪS
    by David August
    NADIR NADIR
David August continues to outdo himself in his approach to structure, design, and narrative-- displaying his incredible evolution as an artist.
This album is an absolute joy to experience. The mastery of sound-- from the organic to the digital-- is showcased in full.

The listener is taken on a journey through epochs and their imagination is left to run wild as they traverse the creative landscapes crafted by the musical narrative.

I was left speechless-- simply splendid.
  4. The Book Of Dogma III
by The Black Dog & Black Sifichi
    Wishing Well Wishing Well
This album is just incredible. An absolutely masterful exposition on the insanity, depravity, consumerism of the modern age.

I could listen to Black Safichi talk for hours-- pair his voice with the brilliant music of The Black Dog, and you have a gem in your hands.

  12. Pale Ravine (Bonus Edition)
    by Deaf Center
    Stone Beacon Stone Beacon
Deaf Center strikes the perfect balance between the dark ambience of Skodvin and the melancholic melodies of Totland— the result is a triumph of music bursting with emotion, taking the listener into the depths of somber thought and existentialism. These two are a match made in heaven.
  13. Nordic Waves
    by Lucette Bourdin
This is Lucette Bourdin’s magnum opus. This monumental work is an exposition on the passage of time; the elements of change that is brought with the seasons— and yet, some things remain constant, unchanging, timeless. A deep sense of this duality is evoked as each track produces a fragment of that feeling.

Rest in peace, Lucette. May your work remain as timeless as the rocks of the seashore met by the Nordic Waves.
  14. Disappearing In A Mirror
    by GIULIO ALDINUCCI
    Mute Serenade Mute Serenade
Breathtaking. Giulio Aldinucci masterfully crafts layer upon layer of sound with a hauntingly beautiful chorus of voices— the result is a submergence into a dreamscape where one is brought only to peer deep into the reflection of self.
