Here It Opens with A Prayer.............. is a threefold triumph. First it is a triumph for Mallonee and the other players on the album. Second, it is a triumph for Americana music. And lastly, it is a triumph for the listeners who have the foresight to not pass Mallonee's work by. This is one of those desert islands discs (Mallonee has put out a few of those) that is lyrically brilliant, and the instrumentation keeps up well. Very Well.
