    “On the Loose” is a somehow melancholic or maybe even "dark" song whose lyrics are not easy to decipher. The video suggests a certain interpretation, but I think the lyrics have even more layers. The music is sparingly arranged, but precisely because of that it has a hypnotic “pull”. Kami’s beautiful crystal clear voice unfolds a tremendous effect against this background.

    “Kingdom” is an extremely beautiful composition with a very catchy vocal melody, a nice brightness flows through the song — though, interestingly, the lyrics are about a failed relationship. This contrast creates a stunning happy/sad ambiguity which seems to be a kind of aesthetic trademark of Kami's work.
