Amazing music from a real character - bought this album after an incredible night at Glassel where we were treated to a very special performance by Hamish, Ross and others (sorry can't remember all the names) of The Railway and Sanctuary.... Thanks guys it's a night that will fill my ears for a long time...

I was sat, last night in Glassel Hall recovering from a wonderful performance of The Railway by Hamish Napier wondering what was to come next from Ross's rendition of his album Sanctuary ---- believe me, what came next blew me away, in its entirety, 50 minutes of the most amazing journey I have been on since listening to the first album I ever bought on the day it was released called Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. I never thought anyone could match, let alone surpass the talents of Mike, but here I was in that tiny venue in the company of the very person who could...

I had no idea of any connection between Ross's music and that of Mike until I got home and read of the influence on Bandcamp...
