  1. 22° Halo
    by Waterbaby
    Tangerine Tangerine
What a sonic world Waterbaby invents and expanses in this album: highly dense atmospheres near beyond time. Waterbaby embodies silky banshee-voices on the edge to Kate Bush's iconic sound and attitude („Tangerine“). Extensive arrangements carried along thoughtful composition. Carefully, sublime and decisive use of well-known synth-colours (maybe a Korg M1). Meticolous crafted, engineered, mixed and mastered.

  5. Après la pluie
    by Teemu Mastovaara
Deeply touched by this beautiful cello playing. A compositionally sharp focus on floating, interconnected themes. As in Mastovarra's works before, a dialectical dynamic of different lines ignites small sparks in different emotional spaces. Some encourage the light, are released, others reveal their heavier pasts after bearing and contemplating them with respect and endurance. Both are based on the search for your own language. Thank you very much! The recording is also great.

The Data Egg The Data Egg
For me a very important album by Kim Cascone's PGR (Silent Records, 1992). When I listen to “The Chemical Bride,” I still feel an intense connection to a special inner place where sound conveys a calm, deep, very own expression. Still so good to hear – with excitement and gratitude.
  9. Conversations with Darkness
    by Teemu Mastovaara
    Il pleut à l'intérieur Il pleut à l'intérieur
Building up impressive soundscapes to locate and find the cello as a inner voice that continually mirrors, takes couragely its place and wanders through deep states of consciousness.
