Underrated doesn't even begin to capture the vastness of the gap between how hard this shit bangs and how little recognition it will ever get. A goddamn fifteen year-old made this whole thing alone in his bedroom and wrote better songs than his idols did.
Title captures it all--a mix of the sensuous and the epic. Funky and trippy as hell, a perfect album to take on a walk through nature/your street and see things through different eyes.
The concept alone deserves your money and attention, but the execution really seals the deal. The huge length is honestly a bonus: I can just loop it for hours and hours while reading or working and never get tired of it. Perfect background AND foreground music.
A beautiful and criminally underrated album, complete with utterly unique lyrics, ethereal guitar, and stunning bass work. The soundtrack to some very, very good years.
I once listened to this full album in the dark and had a full-on vision quest to it. A true sparkling blackened psychedelic diamond tragically consigned to a very small corner of the vast wasteland known as the internet.
