Wasn't sure what to expect from this collaboration and other than "LEATHER OFFENSIVE" it was wildly different than what I could have imagined. Starts off almost Tangerine Dream/Vangellis'ish and several of the songs are much more melodic than I would have expected. Don't mind have my preconceived notions challenged so that's not a bad thing!
Absolutely EVERYTHING I was hoping for when I heard about this collaboration. Brings the best of both artists, and turns it up even more. Hoping that this is not a one off affair!
Half expect to see Sergio Leone's classic western credits rolling as I'm listening to this. What a great album. Get a real feel for the desolation on the cover. Hoping for more!
This is more aggressive than the previous two discs and I love it! Not much room to breathe as Mr. Blacker brings the power and devastation nearly non-stop. Brilliant album!!!
ESA just keeps getting better. Been a fan since "LUST" and it's amazing that every time I think Mr. Blacker can't do something that catches me off guard - he does! And if you think the song is good, find the video. Makes it even better!
ESA is back! It is hard for me to believe that Mr. Blacker can get any better than what he's done - and then this comes along and takes ESA to an entirely new level. The evolution of ESA is astonishing - constantly new without ever compromising what made me love ESA early on!
Normally remix albums kind of leave me, well, blah. Basically the same stuff that was on the album. Not here though. Some really imaginative reimagining on this collection. Hats off to everyone involved!
