  1. Mahogany
    by Forth Wanderers
    Sip Neigh Sip Neigh
How does one get tired of listening to Sip Neigh? I'm far from figuring that out.
  2. Verisune
    by Brittle Brian
    Devil Devil
Brittle Brian rocks my socks, it's just like my opinion, man.
  3. SLEEP
    by ruru
    sleep sleep
I don't even know how to explain Ruru but I think that's OK, she's just so much fun to listen to.
  4. Jaguar Purrs EP
    by Jaguar Purrs
    My Folks My Folks
My Folks is another of those songs I could just loop and be happy listening to it forever.
  5. petty head
    by Mio
wakey wakey eggs and bakey wakey wakey eggs and bakey
Wakey Wakey evokes idealized memories for me, blissful ignorance perhaps?

A good part of this EP is reminiscent of being drunk and high on emotions... And then, You're Not That Nice Anyway sort of reminds me of the end of all that.

I wasn't that nice anyway. Being nice, to a certain degree seems overrated, at least when compared to being kind to yourself, or being kind to spiders. Mio rules.
  6. Grand Ledge
    by Paul Baribeau
    Ten Things Ten Things
K brought me here, I've just been trying to make the most of it ever since. Wonder if Paul is doing OK these days.
  7. Double Single
    by Poppies
    Mistakes Mistakes
Mistakes was such a great companion for such low times back in the day. Handle with care. Poppies are... Intoxicatingly tender and yet you won't make it out unscathed.
  8. Honey, Milk and Blood
    by Shunkan
Dust In Your Eyes Dust In Your Eyes
Shunkan's emotional tunes are superb, the noisy atmosphere, everything else is just there to make the music feel nostalgic yet alive, wide awake. This album never makes you feel like you've had enough. I'm glad I ever bumped into Honey, Milk and Blood.
  9. Q-pup and the 15 Layers of Doubt
    by Q-pup
3rd and Hennepin (Optimism Rekindled) 3rd and Hennepin (Optimism Rekindled)
Amazing album, great place to start diving into the depths of Q-Pup's incredible repertoire. Gotta love the overlapping voices and raw guitar sounds.
  10. Nude Years 2013
    by Skin Cells
It's a song but I don't know, I enjoy it so much. So strange and uncomfortable to listen to. Great start to Alex G's stuff for me.
  11. DEMO(H)
    by Skin Cells
    Youthinasia Youthinasia
I like the way it sways you... Like a rocking chair or something. Such playful melodies from such adventurous young people.
  12. Night Language
    by Molly Shannon, Molly Shannon
    16-Ton Joke 16-Ton Joke
This album keeps me great company at difficult times even if I don't really understand what it is about. After all this time I can attest that the 16-Ton Joke is still is funny.
  13. The Party
    by Andy Shauf
    The Magician The Magician
Heartbreaking or heart wrenching? It's lovable for sure. Oh, the magician. Just a shaking hand without a concrete plan. Such an iconic character.
  14. Elohim - Elohim (EP)
    by Elohim
    Sensations Sensations
"We get sensations on the carpet in the middle of your apartment" nuff said. Maybe not, maybe never miss a chance to dive into Elohim's calculated and warm harmonies.
