I remember when this CD came out & where I was. I've spent the last decade looking forward to the next Darshan Ambient release. It was exciting. He was like a reliable gift waiting in the future with new surprises. It was my personal, uplifting anticipation. It is amazing how he generated so many unforgettable releases between 2004 and 2020 (that I am aware of). There will never be another like him I don’t think. Consistent with my usual opinion, I love every track. I love Slow Drum & Exile. 🌺

This is a very special CD. There are wonderful jazzy-like tracks and others have rhythm and blues/rock flares to them. I remember when this CD came out—right after A Day Within Days which was a sensational CD. I thought it would be a tough act to follow. Not the case. Why was I not surprised? M.A. aka D.A. has continued to evolve since his first CD release and the level to which his musicianship has been perfected is evident. I love every track. Track #s 4, 5, 6, 10, & 11 are my favorites🌺.

This is by far the most beautiful, stylish, dimension-shifting, relaxing, meditative, ambient music I have ever heard any musician create. It is transporting. Michael Allison’s creativity in general & talent in my view knows no bound. This CD is really a gift in tranquility. I love every track. A beautiful complement to his "Remember The Sultana" album. The tracks are beautiful. He placed himself in another space in time to create music that allows you to imagine the atmosphere these soldiers were surrounded by, or feelings they probably felt. A true artist in the fullest. My favorite song is Sweet Water. 🌺
