Perfect atmosphere and wonderfully effortless sounding (but clearly very well thought out) melodies. A lovely glimpse into a northern world and I'm so bummed I didn't hear about it sooner!
Don't be fooled by how stripped down it is - this is the most complex, mature and beautiful songwriting Sufjan has done yet. An absolutely stunning, devastating set of songs that helped me through rough times.
