Since hearing the first track released, I was instantly hooked and wanting more of this maelstrom of sounds. From the concept, to the execution, this is a wonderfully exciting, fun, listen that begs for repeat spins. The layers of the flute with the backdrop of some choice mosh-nuggets make for handbangy listens. This was a sound I never knew I wanted until I heard it and now I can't get enough. More BLACK JAZZ! Another fantastic release from my favorite label. Long Live I, Voidhanger!

Fantastic release! Was instantly hooked from the few singles that were released. The whole album is cohesive and offers a sonic landscape you can really lose yourself with. Not to mention, the source material (lyrically) will take some homework... and I love that.

Album of the year, calling it already. I’ve been longing for something that parallels reality, much like I felt DSO’s “Furnaces…” did (and still does) in 2019 and that album never left the rotation for a year and a half. Safe to say, this release has usurped that one from it’s mighty throne in just about all aspects - lyrically, sonically, emotionally. It checks all the boxes.

Interesting mix of styles/genres while still rooted in BM. And the mix of vocal styles really add a layer that I’ve yet to hear in other releases.

I initially discovered Panopticon via Kentucky, which I devoured instantly. Having found out it was the first entry in a trilogy, excited me and thus the journey began. Autumn Eternal moves away from the more folk-y aspects of "Kentucky" and "Roads...", and is blistering and remarkable, and as mentioned by another user, is damn near perfect in all aspects.
