Never heard of these guys until driving yesterday and a YouTube notification popped up on my phone from Stoned Meadow Of Doom. Normally I ignore it and forget about it because I just don’t like the trendy fuzzed out bands mostly featured there. But for some reason (I think it was the interesting album art) I streamed the album through my car stereo and was immediately impressed and blown away. Shared the link with a bunch of friends. Awesome album. So stoked to discover great new music!

Wow- just happened to stumble across these guys browsing through #Pallbearer Instagram posts and saw they played together and someone had posted a video of Spirit Adrift playing live- “Holy Shit!” I thought to myself as I immediately went to Apple Music to look them up... and fuck yeah they’ve become one of my favorite bands. Soooo good. Soaring Vocals, shredding metal guitar, little bit of 80’s mixed in. Fuck yeah

Atmospheric and haunting. Full of heart and emotion. Everyone collectively comes together creating something that feels genuine an complete. Doesn't feel forced, feels and sounds natural. Like the music was born, not forced. I love this. Thank you to all the members involved in this project for creating this- and thank you for releasing it in Deans memory. It's hard to listen to without getting emotional, yet I love it as it is a part of him, and it's a way I can remember him doing something that he loved - making music.
