There's something very—for lack of a better word—Canadian about this album. For me (and this is all super cheesy), the texture of the album evokes the imagery of the boreal shield and road-tripping on the TransCanada Highway and camping in the parks, etc.

Heard Abigail Lapell play in Toronto a couple months ago, and vowed to buy her album as soon as I got back to Ottawa and got paid... So here we are!

Misty guitar layers, shoegazey jam, weird lyrics, etc. Haven't been able to stop listening to this album for the past couple of days.
