I'm a big fan of the dark pop and powerful instrumentation mixed with pretty vocals. It's the type of music that sounds otherworldly and angelic while also somewhat dark, in a good way.
The music on this album was the absolute perfect pick for the game, and it does so, so well at immersing you in with its interactivity. I definitely recommend playing the game first, but the album is great to listen to on its own, too.
This album does an absurd job at conveying the emotions felt by Madeline in the game, and for that reason even people who haven't played it yet can probably relate to the music if they struggle with anxiety themselves.
