this second ep builds off the indie/garage feel that the band established with their self-titled ep but also plays with a dream pop-like quality that takes the listener on a liminal journey that tastefully complements the music's angsty undertones. in short: this is some damn good shit.

As an avid listener of TM's work, you can hear the trust in his own abilities as a poet + musician in this album in a way that isn't present in any of his other work. There are layers upon layers being exhibited within the songs that are being presented through a mature lens never before seen in TM's work. He is barely entering his peak as a musician; everything he has written beforehand has simply been practice for what is to come.
