This is one of the most beautiful releases that I've heard in a long time. I originally discovered Julien after stumbling across her Audiotree session and was absolutely blown away - literal goosebumps - as I personally relate with some of the darker imagery and brutal honesty depicted in the lyrics on each record. Very thankful this album exists.

This is an incredibly important project with an incredibly important message. I couldn't be more proud of my friends, specifically Jonathan Diener, for organizing and executing this effort so quickly. This compilation says a lot about the strength, community, and character of the local Flint music scene and the multiple generations of national and international artists involved that are friends of the scene. A lot of great people helped out Flint for this and we are extremely grateful.
