The corkscrew-y riffs and grinding songscapes may take a few listens to fully sink in, but when they do, this album is a phenomenal listen. It's evocative of sci-fi horror and writhing alien beasts that probably inhabit the place on the cover; and if that's not enough, the solos on "Chaoplasm" and "Starspawn" are the two greatest metal solos from 2016.

THEY'RE BAAAAAAACK. The best new band of 2015 hasn't lost a step this year. Keeping the same Razor/Exciter/DRI hybrid alive, they push their sound ever so slightly heavier here. The result: More top-tier thrash and more broken necks.

Absolutely blazing, head-slicing, and all-out FUN speed/thrash. These dudes are the best and most refreshing new thrash act not named Vektor. Sounds like if Razor recorded "Kill 'Em All." Every song is tight, fast, and instantly memorable.
