I've been listening to Sophie for a while now, but her music keeps evolving into something quite special. She taps into something not many artists can. Her voice sears right into the heart. I think this is her best song yet, and her collaboration with her brother Alex is so special. He is also a talent to keep an eye on,, some real captivating melodies here. This is an indie song that has clear mainstream appeal and should be in everyone's ears today.
  9. THANK-YOU NOTE FROM MY FUTURE SELF
    by No Commercial Potential
This song is my favorite to date from NCP. I love the big production idea, that it is such a long, epic song. Yet, never a dull moment. This track really reminds me of some of my favorite parts of Pink Floyd, and other greats from yesteryear. I love the theme of the song. Also, the artwork is brilliant!
  10. Reborn (Single)
    by Electron Odyssey
Oh man, I love so much about this song... The synth totally sounds like a crazy lead guitar from the future. The drum solos are so epic. As soon as I heard it, it instantly became one of my favorite songs of the year. When I first stumbled on the track, I was like oh not another futuristic techno-rock song... But I listened anyway. And boy am I glad I did!
Imagine if Philip K Dick and The White Stripes had a baby in the year 2077. I absolutely love the artwork on this track too, so cool!
