    Take Away Take Away
Really great jazz with some proggy hints here and there that manages to grasp my attention immediately and let me sink into the music as well as just keep it running while doing something besides.
Rare that a band manages to work as lounge background music but offers enough depth to listen to repeatedly on headphones.

Taggarik - Stalwarts of Suffering Taggarik - Stalwarts of Suffering
Straight up in your face split that doesn't waste much time. The cover gives a hint of what you can expect. Harsh and somewhat raw produced Black Metal which manages to remind one of the hypnotic riff cascades à la Burzum etc. without copying any of it.
Especially Taggarik's part managed to stuck in my head, while Circle Of Salt deliver a very worthy 1st part for the split.

I Am The Alpha And The Omega I Am The Alpha And The Omega
The prior effort of Abyssal managed to struck me as some sort of DSO/Portal/Morbid Angel-ish influenced bastard which managed to showcase it's paragons without sacrificing a unique and own sound.
Now they amped up their style with more choirs, more classical instruments and just a stripped down way of writing songs that focuses on the harsh and eerie death meal riffs as well as the melodic moments combined with brutal, grunting vocals.
