Some people call this album “childish.” I think it’s brilliant! There are plenty of silly things, but they all add something to the music and don’t take away from the heavy riffs, banging grooves, and catchy choruses.
If you are a fan of both metal and music that stands out from the mainstream, this album is a must-have!

If you like the intensity of black metal (or metal in general) and want to hear it channeled into glory and passion instead of evil, then this album may be for you! I understand why this album has been rated lower than other Liturgy records, but do NOT let that dissuade you from at least giving this a listen. This is Liturgy’s most glorious, melodic, and goosebump-inducing record. The last 4 tracks in particular are some of Liturgy’s finest. Give these a listen!
