The only other bands in the micro-subgenre most associated with Order From Chaos would probably be the following: Nepenthe/Ligea and perhaps Scythe. This type of music is often erroneously associated with “war metal” and bands such as Conqueror or Blasphemy. While also directly descending from the first wave of black metal, what makes this music from the Kansas City Area different are the songs’ epic and astonishing construction with focus on real synergy between the respective elements.
