    Feed Feed
Full of razor blade sarcasm and catchy hooks, Bacchae's self-titled EP presents a flavorful keyboard infused take on post-punk. Over the plodding rhythmic support of Eileen O and Rena H, and Andrew B's warmly-distorted surf rock influenced riffing, is a swift kick to the teeth of social commentary and righteous feminism- made all the more powerful by Katie McD's clean and venomous vocals.
There's a genuine character and originality to Bacchae that will certainly draw you in.

  8. Unveil The Ancient
    by Spells Arcane
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Nigh Nigh
Unveil The Ancient sets a different pace than the Anchorage, AK based Spells Arcane did on his debut album- each track is a short window into a diverse and incredibly varied array of aural experiments. Percussion features heavily at times and is always as varied as the emotions and visuals expressed in the songs themselves. Unveil the Ancient is very much alike pulling the lever on a multidimensional slot machine. Would highly recommend a listen to get your creative juices a fill-up.

  9. Transhumanism
    by Spells Arcane
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    Clay Being Clay Being
The aptly named Spells Arcane uses tone and form to paint striking poems of sound, each with a distinct feeling and emotion. Transhumanism is an exercise in atmosphere, where sonic rumors, distant cries and distortion morph into arcane spells...
  10. Sacred Stone
    by Duff Egan
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
    E.M.P. E.M.P.
Sacred Stone weaves and meanders, waxes and wanes, and brings new overtones and textures with each pass- all without straying from its sonic message. Duff is somehow able to thread the aural needle through subtlety and rich atmosphere transformations. Complex, warm and engaging. Definitely check this one out.
  11. When All of This Finally Stops
    by Adam Biel
    favorite track 00:00/00:00
The Empty Station The Empty Station
Absolutely devastating, Adam Biel stretches the limitations of his guitar to create intensely detailed atmospheres. Each track delivers on the concept through waves of darkness, and apathy culminating in the monolith, The Empty Station. This is not to say that the release is needlessly dark, rather, it is somehow a warm desolation... comfortably depressed. The trained ear will pick up all sorts of overtones and subtle oscillations in this work.
