This album belongs on any list of the most crushingly beautiful art pieces ever created. It feels perfect to me in virtually every respect; the pacing, the musicianship, the dynamics and tonality, the lyricism and themes, the absolutely unbelievable use of harmony and dissonance, the unbelievably apt production, and an unprecedentedly personal and intimate presentation within the world of doom metal all work together to make for a piece that transcends genre or medium. Thank you, Harvey Milk.
