  8. low signal
    by Elemusic Productions
whirring, humming, begging whirring, humming, begging
a cohesive album with satisfying rhythms and creative melodic turns and phrases. i love the moods on this; aptly named, it is very 'low' in the same way that you might sling a bass guitar real low, the way dim lights are low, and like how being in deep down in an underground tunnel system is low. would rave to this

the angel effect the angel effect
a very strong debut from texas' very own ribbonkitty, with lovely little bars delivered over punchy indie drums matched with catchy fun keys and even a few samples in the mix :)

over all you will enjoy this album if you like albums with songs in them and also you will feel some emotions perhaps!

CANAL CANAL is a master composer and moodsmith, and this is a tour through a buncha different (evil) vibes…
#THIS ALBUM is loud, rowdy and bangin with cool metallic sounds and bouncy tunez; its got a big sonic palette, with percussion ranging frm bassy 808s and club drums to textural noisy percussive synths or a few songs that dont need drums which STILL vibe hard; also has synths and tones ranging from chill ambient chords to Big and In Your Face growls to lovey humsynths…

fresh and satisfying structuring of song segments, great sampling, sweet sound design, and skilled original playing/singing from andrew huang make this album an excellent take on the lo-fi scene.

very cohesive album but still with plenty of variety, my only complaint is that there isnt more

also i kinda wished the anchor had more flute solo but uhhh hehe
