Backyard Universe manages to create a great listening experience with the loud stunning guitar lines, the groovy basslines, the melancholic and sweet melodies and the relatable and introspective lyrics. Overwhelming Odds for Underwhelming Dreams has me really looking forward to listening to more music from Eli.
American Squalor is truly a piece of art. Real, sweet, cheerful, kinda sad sometimes but hopeful and inspiring. It can be loud and distorted, but also mellow and honest. Simply put: punk rock at its finest.
