until Bloodstock festival, I hadn't heard Deathfiend, they were the first band I decided to listen to on the Jagermeister stage, being a death metal fan, the name alone meant I needed to check them out, wasn't disappointed
for me, coming from the era that first spawned death metal, this evokes the spirit of my youth circa 1989 and reminds me of those early pioneers of a new genre in metal. Crypt Crawler will easily appeal to anyone with a passing interest in old school sounding Death metal, including Obituary, Autopsy and of course Death.
