This track goes places you wouldn't believe from those first few seconds. The constantly-shifting soundscape is intense, and I love the blend of breakbeat and idm type stuff. Really caught me by surprise, and I'm looking forward to whatever you both do next. :)
One of my fave Xiu Xiu albums. There's a strong melodic component to this one similar to albums like Forget, and even with their trademark dark-as-hell lyrical content, it's honestly kinda uplifting...?

From the moment I first heard Xiu Xiu's take on Only Girl In The World, I was in love. I was never into Rihanna, but the cover's difference in tone and production aesthetic give it a dramatic, moody edge that, to me, brings new meaning to the song.
