    Some sweet new takes on slightly less new tracks. Flower Bell is a painfully good (and short) track that captures the best of a “feel good” Boards of Canada track, while still being distinctly Goon. The production choices and lo-fi aesthetics combine to form a different-but-totally-valid take on what “sounds like nostalgia” actually sounds like.

    Would love to see the official lyrics like we got with the full LP.

    An incredible combination of melancholic sing-along crooners that always end up with a little bright edge to them. The classic alternative rock sound is here, but somehow wrapped in a candy coating only capable of coming from the Bandcamp era. No misplaced or ill-though-out instrumentation, intriguing but accessible lyrics. The onus is on everyone else to dethrone what is undoubtedly my album of the year so far. It'll take quite a bit to do so.

    Just the perfect combination of all sorts of genres. You get everything with this one - some tracks are nice and soft, some tracks are just fun, and even some Cloud Nothings-esque bits. Their live show is electric! Starting out on a brilliant note here, can't wait to see what's next.
