  1. MY LIFE AS A GHOST ~ 2023
    by Phil Judd
  2. PLANET SUBLIME ~ 2021 solo album
    by Phil Judd
YOU NEVER KNOW YOU NEVER KNOW
I have to admit this took me longer to “get” than any other of Phil Judd’s LPs...but it was worth the wait. Any songwriter who can compose a great melody and has the audacity to only use it for 4 bars or so is a genius. Planet Sublime has so many hidden gems. And Phil’s lyrics (again) are beautiful, dark and hilarious - who else would write a love song set in a rehab clinic??!! Great to see an appearance by Miles Golding as well. Keep up the great work Phil! X
  3. UniQue ~ 2016 solo album
    by PHIL JUDD
    CREME BRULEE CREME BRULEE
Sublime uniqueness from The Phudd Factory. I am slightly obsessed with “Meanwhile” not sure why? That’s what Phil’s tunes do to you! Creme Brulee is a mini masterpiece. A special LP and a great precursor to Flightless Bird. Take a bow PJ
  4. MAGIC ROUNDABOUT - track from forthcoming album 'Planet Sublime'
    by Phil Judd
I literally cannot wait for a new Phil Judd album! Like a lot of his music, I find it takes time to truly appreciate how amazing his talent is. Complicated, unique, discerning and stylish...like the great man himself. Thanks Phil
  5. FLIGHTLESS BIRD ~ 2019 solo album

  6. NOVELTY ACT ~ solo album 2006
    by PHIL JUDD
    MINDFUCKED MINDFUCKED
First things first, Phil Judd is funny.
From honest self confessional lyrics that simultaneously stop you in your tracks and make you laugh out loud, to melodic hooks that stay with you long after listening, to song structures that other artists only have wet dreams about ‘Mr. Phudd and his Novelty Act’ has it all. Don’t attempt to pigeon hole him, or try and classify his music. This is Phil Judd music. He once told me he “wouldn’t change a note on this album” & why would he? It’s
  7. PLAY IT STRANGE ~ 2014 solo album
    by PHIL JUDD
This is a sublime piece of work from the genius that is Phil Judd.

For me, there’s a sense of emptiness and loneliness with the music & lyrics but with an underlining sense of contentment and possibility. I think it’s an almost perfect soundtrack to the lockdown.

I love the segment of Baby & the Bathwater leading into the gorgeous Play it Strange and ending in Tranquillina. I am also currently submerged in Love Crusade & Kite Flying Day.

    Play it Strange...Play it Relentlessly
