“When I first heard White Lighter, I was already aware of Typhoon via CPR/Claws Pt. 2, but this album cemented the band as my favorite. Since then I’ve traveled out of state and country to see them perform. I’ve hung out with members of the band in Seattle, watched Kyle play on a roof in Portland, fought subway rats to see them in NYC. I dread the day they announce their retirement -- may it never come -- but I am forever grateful for the journey that started with the release of White Lighter.”
