“Driving acoustic instruments and sparse vocals conjure raging storms that dash ocean waves against the rocks, sending mists of salt spray into the heavens, and give voice to the spirits haunting the depths of lonely river valleys. Powerfully moving, especially in the combination of lilting Celtic flute dipping and weaving amongst the grounding guitars. Plus some lovely pipes, which remind of the Galician gaita. (But not a metal project per se, as Alice M. explains.)”
