The new LP by morimoto naoki for Lontano Series is a minimal, ambient delight. Despite the machine intensive, sample slicing and splicing approach - albeit of many familiar instruments, the chosen sounds have an almost natural system symbiosis that naoki has seemingly allowed to evolve rather than refine into this flourishing, sonic ecosystem. One of my favourite ambient LPs of the year so far & a more than worthy Recommendation of the Day on the TSMM Blog.”
