“Not just for FN completists, this one 100% stands up on its own - just like any good origin story. It's obvi more varied than their other releases, but it's cool to hear what got incorporated into the FN sound & what got left behind. Interestingly, I think it has more in common with their latest (Quirked Up...) than a lot of what came between, esp the very jazzy approach to drumming (yes please!), but it's still very much within the overall FN vibe. ”
