“The old skramz head in me can't shake the L'Antietam vibe in a couple of sections here. This record is ferocious like the previous releases, but feels a little more somber and resigned to our collective fate, which is exactly how I'm feeling about the state of the world: pessimistic. The noose of selfishness that's wrapped around our necks as those with the means choose to double down on exploitation epitomises how human nature has nothing left in common with nature at all.”
