So I have listened to a future funk album that samples k-pop music called The Demise of Nanami by nano shrine. It consists of literally house music with pitched down samples. And all of them are a bop ♪ The artwork looks like it's done on photoshop or smth. It had a few anime characters (including Nanami), k-pop idols and logos, and some random text above on a windows 7 background. Overall it's pretty good and I would love to listen to it again.

I just bought this album about a week ago. It is the deluxe version not the original. When I listen to it, it felt like I was cruising in the neon lights of Tokyo. “morikawa” and “春の中 (middle of summer)” has anime boys talking in Japanese. The synthwave production on this is amazing, and I think vhstokyo did a good job on it ✿

    Kaleidoscope Kaleidoscope
Neoncity Hits! has the best hits from the popular future funk artists, Macross 82-99, Vantage, Night Tempo, and Desired. The album cover seems to look like a cassette cover. And I think it makes sense how it was released on a limited edition cassette tape. I wish I’ve could have gotten it, but I’ve ended up buying the digital copy to my collection. For those who wanted to experience the greatest future funk hits on cassette, well now it’s your chance to buy them before they sold out.

To my surprise, this album sounded like if New Jeans released an album for there Japanese debut. I can tell because of the sound design in some of the songs sounded similar to the New Jeans songs. "Pulseline" hits different though. Overall it sounded good and I am glad I got it from OMOIDE Label ✿
