Love this album! During the pandemic I would Listen to all the current 93 albums in order of release, that I have (which is all of them) There has always been a steady Evolution in the musicianship on all the current 93 albums. But this one and ‘I am the last of the field that fell’ are my favorite at the moment. I could listen to them both 100 times over. Outstanding all around.

This is such a great collection of the more laid-back and relax’d trax by Bryn Jones, ala Muslimgauze. Great relaxed feel throughout this disc. My fave standout trax are Amritsar, with that dreamlike tabla drumming. Fast and urgent but stimulating. Like a good cup of strong black tea.The way this album was mix is brilliant. Songs float seamlessly into each other. For a wonderful and Stoney experience. The last song, Gulfwar(86 remix) is the best version of this song. Great way to end this disc.
